International WHEA competitions
Several countries are having WHEA sanctioned events and national qualification are in Canada, Finland, GB, Ireland etc. The athletes, which are living in a country without WHEA national events may apply a spots to WHEA international competitions. (max 3 spots per class per country).
During 2023 WHEA is widening it´s competitions to online competitions also. The online events will be a qualification for the countries without nationals.
From the qualifications, 1-3 athletes per country gets the spot, depending on the size of the country. If the athlete with a spot is injured or otherwise not able to attend, the spot goes down to the next in the national qualifications. No wild cards, no invites to past champions. Direct qualification each year.
WHEA WORLD STRONGMAN/WOMAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Since 2015, WHEA has organized the strongman/woman world championships for weight-classes and masters. (F-65kg, F-75kg, F75kg+, masters 40+ & M-85kg, M-100kg, M100kg+, masters 40+).
WHEA WORLD GRIP CHAMPIONSHIPS
Since 2015, WHEA has organized the grip world championships for weight-classes and masters. (F-65kg, F-75kg, F75kg+, masters 40+ & M-85kg, M-100kg, M100kg+, masters 40+).
WHEA WORLD STRONGEST TEAM
Since 2022 WHEA has organized the team event, where an athlete from each WHEA cass competes as a team over 4-6 strongman/woman events.
WHEA PURE PULL™ WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Strongman/woman deadlift World Championships for strength athletes under anti-doping program around the globe. Also power- and weightlifters welcome.
WHEA LOG LIFT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Log lift Worlds are on our calendar since 2023.
